About the Speaker
With 20+ years working in IT, Jen McFarland has experience across a range of tools and technologies and is the founder and chief boss lady at Marit Digital. She wants to help small businesses and teams design, improve, and maintain the technology that helps them succeed.
She spent nearly 20 years working in higher education before moving into the private sector, and incorporated Marit Digital in 2022. She loves the ability to connect to the small businesses in her community and help untangle their technology troubles.
Jen has experience with web design and development, UX, UI; usability testing design and assessment; WordPress everything; building strong teams; technology training and development; brand design and strategy; product and project management; higher education stuff, including technology strategy and governance; social media planning, implementation, and policy recommendations; ServiceNow development and strategy; conference and community planning and organization.
About BLUSH
Blush Cowork is the first women-focused coworking space with childcare in Cary, NC.
We wanted to create a coworking space with a few key differences. We are open to all, but want to focus on creating a safe and welcoming space for women to work, collaborate, achieve and flourish. Traditional coworking spaces are generally located in city centers or downtown areas, but we chose to focus on coming to our members and making it easy to drop in, whether it’s just you, your team, or even with children in tow. We believe that childcare should not be a luxury, and realize what a huge factor reliable, safe childcare plays in any parent’s potential to be productive or creative.
