Through and since the pandemic, we have had wave after wave of layoffs as businesses weathered the changes rocking our work lives. I know firsthand—the reason Blush exists is because I was laid off in 2020.

Just like Blush Cowork exists to give women a space and a community that supports their personal and professional journey, I wanted to create a program to help women who found themselves in that same position, which can be scary and daunting.

In the Fall of 2022, we launched an IFundWomen campaign and this program was born. Our supporters came from around the country and even the world, and couldn’t always use the day pass reward for themselves. We created the option to donate the day pass back to us to give to a woman or student in need, and many donors chose that option.

Since then, women have applied for hundreds of jobs, had dozens of interviews, and landed new jobs right here at Blush due to this program and the ability to have a space to focus on their job search even when they aren’t in a position to pay.

As of September 2023, we have added a loaner laptop to our available equipment thanks to Lenovo. So job seekers are fully equipped no matter what to be able to find their next step.

Your $30 donation goes directly to our Women’s Work program and provides a full day of access to our coworking space, computer and conferencing equipment, and interview rooms for one job seeker.
